The Parksville Downtown Business Association has made a donation of $5,000, making it the first donation at the “High Tide” level.

“The Parksville Downtown Business Association is excited to contribute $5,000 to the new Parksville splash park,” said PDBA President Melisa Beatty. “The Community Park is the jewel of our downtown core, and its splash park is a huge draw for visitors and locals alike. The redevelopment of this beautiful amenity will ensure that it remains an attraction and a source of smiles for years to come.”

Lemonade Cash for Splash Park

Two young entrepreneurs have donated part of their profits from a summer lemonade stand to the Parksville Splash Park.  Cooper Lotzien and Kai Carleton, both avid users of the Splash Park themselves, made a donation of $150 – 10% of their profits – in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday.  Thanks boys for your hard work and your wonderful community spirit.  You exemplify our fundraising theme – it’s all about the kids!
